ÉCOLE DE THÉÂTRE

Play, create and thrive in French

Our École de théâtre gives aspiring artists ages 7 to 15 the opportunity to develop their talents and experience theatre en français. Working with professional artists, young people explore performance, creativity and the stage in French. The year culminates in the creation and presentation of a show at the Studio Ian C. Nelson.

Junior: 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Senior: 11:15 AM to 12:45 PM

From October to May, with rehearsals, intensive days and a final performance.

Registration opens on September 13, 2026.

School Matinees

French-language shows for schools

La Troupe du Jour invites schools in Saskatoon and Saskatchewan to introduce their students to Francophone theatre through its school matinees. An opportunity to experience theatre in French, stimulate the imagination and discuss the works presented.

Reduced rates are offered to school groups. To find out about available shows, dates and booking procedures, contact the school program coordinator.

School Workshops

La Troupe du Jour offers workshops for elementary and secondary school students with the goal of introducing the dramatic arts to these artists of tomorrow.
