The 10-year anniversary of one of Live Five’s most infamous productions!
Southern Dandy 75 is the ‘old timey story of Two Boxcar Hobos, who unwittingly find themselves in possession of the finest and rarest bourbon whiskey – The Southern Dandy 75. With craft, honey tongued rhetoric and the help of an unexpected alliance, the two hobos make off with the entire supply.
Naturally, their pleasant Sunday afternoon soon derails as the two fellows find themselves on the run from all manner of dangerous and surly adversaries. Meanwhile, it’s election day, and the fate of the town rests in the decision between ‘mostly good’ and ‘just plain villainous’.
Southern Dandy 75 is a comedy of a fanciful nature, fuelled by adventure, poetry, music and booze.
La Troupe du Jour thanks Live Five and Buttered Ghost Theatre for choosing to rent our space to present their production of Southern Dandy 75.
