Synopsis
Cet été qui chantait, by Flammèche Théâtre (MB) (April 10-12, 2026).
By Marie-Ève Fontaine, based on the book by Gabrielle Roy. Directed by Pierre Robitaille (Orange au pays des angles), this play features pastoral imagery, puppetry, and live music and sound effects. A beautiful and creative production – a charming meditation on rural life.

Special program for the Premiere! The evening begins at 6:30 PM with a screening of an episode from the series Le monde de Gabrielle Roy (in French), followed by a discussion led by Nicole Lavergne Smith, a video journalist at Radio-Canada. End the evening with an Artists’ Talkback after the performance. - Saturday, April 11 at 7:30 PM
