The Denis Rouleau Bursary for artistic development in francophone theatre.
La Bourse Denis Rouleau est remise au nom de l’ancien directeur artistique de La Troupe du Jour.
M. Rouleau a dirigé la compagnie avec distinction pendant trente ans, créant de nombreuses productions mémorables et remportant multiples prix et distinctions pour lui-même et pour la compagnie.
Cette bourse de 500$ est distribuée une fois par année. La bourse est accordée à un(e) artiste de théâtre francophone pour l’aider à poursuivre leur développement artistique. La préférence sera donnée aux artistes fransaskois (artistes qui pratiquent leur art en français en Saskatchewan).
The Denis Rouleau Bursary is awarded in the name of the former La Troupe du Jour Artistic Director.
Mr. Rouleau managed the company with distinction for thirty years, creating many memorable productions and winning multiple awards for himself and the company.
The $500 scholarship is distributed annually. It will be awarded to a French-speaking theatre artist to help them continue their artistic development. Preference will be given to Fransaskois artists (an artist who works in French in Saskatchewan).
